You build chairlifts and surface lifts, clear runs and glades, install snowmaking, groom terrain, add parking, lodges, food and drink venues, terrain parks, race courses, and cross-country skiing. You also manage ticket prices, staff, operating costs, skier satisfaction, and the changing weather.
Yes. The regional career draws from real lost or distressed New England ski areas, including Boston Hill, Brodie Mountain, Enchanted Mountain, and Mount Whittier. Real history and geography inform the premise and mountain data, while each playable hill remains a game simulation rather than a literal reconstruction.
Lost ski areas are former ski hills whose lifts closed and whose trails may have returned to forest or found another use. Their history helped inspire Ice Coast Revival's lost-area premise.

Ice Coast Revival is single-player. Daily Challenge leaderboards let players compare scores, but resort building and management stay solo.
Ice Coast Revival uses curated mountain handles assembled from three developer-authored word lists. Players keep or reroll them with buttons. There is no text entry for a leaderboard or profile display name, and the server stores the selection as an integer.
